We have
a variety of services and treatments we can offer to our client's horses. The
combination of such treatments is designed into a programme to suit each
different horse's needs.
Sometimes a horse has an obvious problem such
as an injury but there are times when a horse is showing signs of misbehaving
such as bucking when ridden but when the problem is looked into further it has
been caused by a physical problem. With the services we offer we are able to
look at the whole horse and not just the initial problem, in this way we hope
to be able to ensure a permanent solution.
Recommended Associate status awarded
Jo Milnes,
owner and manager of West End Farm Stud has Recommended Associate status of
Intelligent Horsemanship together with Monty Roberts Prelimary Certificate in
Horsemanship.
Using established principles of psychology and equine
behaviour together with years of experience this way of training has become
increasingly popular. Sympathetic to both horses and people Recommended
Associates have helped horses and horse owners achieve a better understanding
and achieve there full potential all around the world.
Services Offered

Alongside the traditional
livery services we also offer Problem Solving, these can be either as a visit
to you and your horse or where the horse comes to stay at livery and we work
through the problem along with the owner.
Whether you have a young foal
or weanling that needs handling; a horse that needs saddling, long-reining,
backing; a horse who won’t shoe, catch, load, clip, needs schooling,
hacking out, or anything else you can think of we can provide you with a
solution to get you heading in the right direction.

Treatments offered.

Hydrotherapy - A cold water spa that uses the
combination of salt concentration, water temperature, areation of water and
water depth to assist lower leg problems in the recovery and
prevention.

| Clinics - We have regular clinics with
Roy Midwood who also treats Olympic standard event horses and top racehorses.
He will treat Humans, Horses and Dogs. His results are amazing. Vets recommend
him. |
Laser Treatment - This treatment is
used for wound healing, pain control, soft tissue injuries.

Physical Exercise - A range of
programmes can be arranged to assist your horse's recovery - build up strength
and muscle tone before being able to resume full work. These include exercise
on the horsewalker, lunging, ridden exercise and pole work in hand.

Remedial Farrier - Our farrier is able
to assess the conformation of the horse's foot and recommend a programme of
treatment. This may only be balancing the foot correctly or remedial
shoeing.

Equissage -
A unique Cycloid Massage which was originally developed for humans and
incorporates a unique three way effect which helps to stimulate circulation to
the affected areas and encourages the healing process for common conditions
such as haematomas, pulled ligaments and swellings
|
