In the rehabilitation of horses and to assist some minor problems we have discovered some alternative therapies that help the individual horse and its problem I was introduced to magnotherapy when my horse at that time, Harvest Gold (Rupert) was coming out of his stable stiff each morning and it was taking time to ease. A friend suggested some magnotherapy boots for him to wear each night. After a week of wearing these at night the stiffness was less apparent and in time he was hardly stiff at all. Rupert had a bad accident in 1987 which has caused arthritis in his hind fetlock. At the age of 24, Rupert, still wears his boots every night and although is on a reduced workload he still hacks out and enjoys life.  For more information on magnotherapy please click here |
