At West End Farm Equine
Therapy Centre we offer several livery packages designed to meet the needs of
our client's and their horses. As this is a small private yard we pride
ourselves on professional care in a peaceful, settled surrounding.
We
can tailor a package to suit you and our expert staff will implement this.
If you wish to discuss your requirements please feel free to contact us or
to arrange a visit and meet our friendly staff and see how relaxed other
residents are.
All our livery packages include the following:-
- Full Livery 24/7 including Bank Holidays
- Stable and appropriate grazing.
- All bedding, hay/haylage, water & hard feed (supplements
extra)
- Use of horse walker. allweather arena, lunge pen
- Exercise at least 5 days a week (i.e. hack, lunge, school) as
required
- Individual Exercise programme as appropriate.
- Appropriate Rug Changes
- Liaise with Vet and Farrier (any costs for treatment to be
incurred by the owner.)
- Worming programme (at owner's costs)
Schooling/Starting Young
Horses

We can bring on your horse from introducing it's first saddle
and rider right through to competition. You may require a refresher programme
for your horse or a short term training period for some intensive work.

Reschooling - Remedial
Livery

As a recommended Associate with Intelligent Horsemanship, Jo
is a specialist in training and understanding horses, ponies, both young and
"horses with problems".
Using established principles of psychology and
equine behaviour together with years of experience this way of training has
become increasingly popular. Sympathetic to both horses and people Recommended
Associates have helped horses and horse owners achieve a better understanding
and achieve there full potential all around the world.
Whether you have
a young foal or weanling that needs handling; a horse that needs saddling,
long-reining, backing; a horse who won’t shoe, catch, load, clip, needs
schooling, hacking out, or anything else you can think of we can provide you
with a solution to get you heading in the right direction.

Rehabilitation/Post Operative
Livery
|
We are able to offer convalescent, rehabilitation and post
operative care for long or short term periods. This is useful for owners who do
not have time, facilities or experience to enable their horse to have the best
chance of a speedy and full recovery.
Sometimes horses will become
difficult to handle whilst on box rest and subsequent "quiet" exercise and this
can result in the danger of a horse becoming loose and setting recovery back as
well as being a blow to the owner's confidence.
With our expert staff
and carefully designed faciltiies. we are able to cope with most injuries and
health problems. As your horse recovers (on veterinary approval) we can provide
a controlled exercise programme.

Full Livery
|
Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day. We can
help with the mundane jobs and allow you to spend quality time with your horse.
This can be on a short or long term basis with a programme to suit you and your
horse.

Holiday Livery
|
If you are planning a holiday, from a few days away or
heading abroad for longer bring your horse to us. Our professional and caring
staff will take care of your horse leaving you with peace of mind.
We
will discuss a programme for your horse's stay with us to allow you to continue
where you left off prior to your break.

Selling Livery
|
Sometimes you don't have the time, experience or the
facilties to show their horses to potential customers any time of the day,
night or weekend, or maybe do not have inclination to deal with people
scrutinising their horse.
We can produce your horse for sale, having
them well turned out ready to be seen by potential customers and making sure
that your horse is a good match for a new owner.

Broodmare/Foaling Livery
|
| We are able to take Broodmares for foaling or longer term
livery. Our facilities include large foaling boxes with CCTV linked to the
owner's house for constant monitoring, large turnout barns and individual
turnout for mares and newly born foals. This service is backed up by Specialist
Reproduction Vets, Jon Pycock and his team. |
