Alongside the traditional livery services we also offer Problem Solving, these can
be either as a visit to you and your horse or where the horse comes to stay at livery
and we work through the problem along with the owner.
Whether you have a young foal or weanling that needs handling; a horse that needs
saddling, long-reining, backing; a horse who won’t shoe, catch, load, clip, needs
schooling, hacking out, or anything else you can think of we can provide you with
a solution to get you heading in the right direction.

If you are buying a new horse and would like another opinion on suitability we are more than happy to view the horse with you and independently assess your potential purchase.
We have a variety of services and treatments we can offer to our client's horses.
The combination of such treatments is designed into a programme to suit each different
horse's needs.
Sometimes a horse has an obvious problem such as an injury but there
are times when a horse is showing signs of misbehaving such as bucking when ridden
but when the problem is looked into further it has been caused by a physical problem.
With the services we offer we are able to look at the whole horse and not just the
initial problem, in this way we hope to be able to ensure a permanent solution.
- Box Rest - we specialise in giving horses a very peaceful, relaxed atmosphere with other horses around them during their period of box rest.
- Hydrotherapy - A cold water spa that uses the combination of salt concentration, water temperature, aeration of water and water depth to assist lower leg problems in recovery and prevention.
- Roy Midwood Clinics - for horses, dogs & humans Roy works on treating soft tissue injuries. We have found his results amazing.
- Physical Exercise - A range of programmes can be arranged to assist your horse’s recovery - build up strength and muscle tone before being able to resume full work. These include exercise on the horsewalker, lunging and in hand pole work.
- Remedial Farrier - Our farrier, Paul Young, is able to assess the conformation of the horse’s foot and recommend a programme of treatment. This may only be balancing the foot correctly or remedial shoeing.
The above treatments combined together with a peaceful, relaxed yard assists horses through difficult situations.
